A little bit of random...
Tracey Sonneborn is an illustrator and designer who has worked in the stationery/gift, textile and apparel industries. She is inspired by great art and design, 1920/30s fashion and beautiful old houses. She loves road trips and mountain getaways. Flea markets are her thing. She had the privilege of helping care for rescued seals and sea lions and wants to tour the Amazon to see the pink river dolphins. She acquired an amazing beach sand collection, has always wanted to learn how to race cars, prefers lemon in her water...and wishes she were French.
A girl, her dog and some chocolate was aptly named after Tracey's obsession with (dark) chocolate and her beloved former dog, Brer. She also had a sweet dog named Tula. She currently has a fearless little wooly husky, Myla…and a newly-adopted husky mix, Tawni, who looks like a stuffed animal.
In addition to being an illustrator and designer, Tracey is a classical representational artist. It’s her ultimate desire to see her art make a difference in the world in some way…
